Description Coconut oil MCT


MCT oil stands for Medium Chain Triglyceride Oil. Triglycerides are a type of fat found in the bloodstream and in the body's fat stores. They consist of glycerin and three fatty acid chains. MCTs are a special type of fat with shorter fatty acid chains than most other fats.

It is popular in the health and fitness community for several reasons:

Easily digestible: MCTs are easier to digest than longer-chain fatty acids found in many other foods.
Energy source: MCTs are quickly absorbed and can be quickly converted into energy by the liver. This makes them popular among athletes and people on low-carb or ketogenic diets.
Interesting for low-carb, paleo and ketogenic diets

MCT oil in this product was obtained from coconut oil. The extraction takes place purely mechanically, without chemical treatment or separating agents.

The taste of coconut oil MCT is neutral. The consistency is liquid.

 

Usage


When heated, this actually tasteless oil can develop a sharp or bitter taste. It is therefore recommended to use the oil cold, for example mixed with:

  • Coffee
  • Water
  • Smoothies
  • juices
  • Shakes
  • Alternatively, it can also be used for salad dressings, for example.

Coconut oil MCT is light sensitive and should therefore be stored in a dark place.

Usage

 

Due to its spicy taste, black caraway seed oil is ideal for oriental dishes such as:
