Noodle soups like the famous ramen noodles play a very important role in Japanese cuisine.

This Japanese-style soup bowl holds up to 1.6L of delicious soup.

The handmade set consists of:

• ceramic bowl
• wooden lid
• ceramic spoon
• wooden chopsticks

The color of the bowl and spoon is dark blue with white floral pattern. The chopsticks are made of dark wood - a nice contrast to the light wooden lid.

Care

The soup bowl and the ceramic soup spoon can both be put in the dishwasher for cleaning.

The wooden lid and chopsticks should be hand washed with warm water.

Description Kutani Rice Bowl

The Japanese Kutani porcelain was developed about 400 years ago. It is characterized by its particularly strong colors and a wide variety of painting styles and methods.

From the multitude of high-quality designs, we have selected a rice bowl from a series of four season flowers. Shown are the flowers of the hydrangea.

The dimensions of the rice bowl:

About the manufacturer

The manufacturer in Ishikawa Prefecture was founded in the Taishō era (approx. 1912-1926) and is still being run by the family in the third generation.

He has always been dedicated to the production of Kutani porcelain. For his creations he uses a mixture of screen printing technology and manual work.

Care

In order to preserve the brilliant colors, we recommend washing the Kutani porcelain by hand using a soft sponge and a mild detergent.

We have selected a soy sauce dispenser with the design Ume Kiku from the large number of high-quality designs. It shows plum and chrysanthemum blossoms. They symbolize patience and a long life.

Use

The dispenser can also be used for other liquids such as ponzus, vinegars, sauces, dressings, etc.

The lid is inserted into the oblong opening, and then slightly twisted. It is then locked and can no longer fall down.
