Description Tororo Kombu

 

Tororo kombu flakes made from kombu leaves marinated in vinegar, which are used as a topping on dishes. They add acidity and umami to the dishes. They also provide an exciting look.

 

Manufacturing

 

For tororo kombu, kombu leaves are marinated in vinegar and then dried. With the help of a special technique, fine, long, thin flakes are then scraped from the kombu leaves.

 

Use Tororo Kombu

 

As a topping for

  • Okonomiyaki
  • Japanese noodle dishes
