Description Korean Gochujang 1 kg

Korean Gochujang is a traditional spicy condiment made from fermented rice and fermented soybean paste mixed with chilies and syrup.

The Gochujang from the well-known Korean company Sempio also contains garlic extract to round it off.

The taste of gochujang is savory, spicy and sweet at the same time. Their consistency is thick and pasty.

 

Use

Gochujang is an ingredient that gives Korean dishes their typical touch, e.g

  • Korean style soups and stews
  • Marinades of meats like bulgogi
  • Vegetable dips

 

Sesame seeds go very well as a topping, e.g.

  • unroasted sesame seeds in a spice jar
  • roasted golden sesame
